KTH Royal Institute of Technology is currently the sponsor and driving force of the network. The network co-organize seminars and conferences together with other actors. The network supports local crime prevention and development projects, as well as contributes to relevant research projects that facilitates evidence-based practice. Of key importance here is that research, government and local agencies and other actors work together to make national and international evidence-based research available for the practice of crime prevention. We strive to make all our result findings in Swedish and English available for the network’s members. From 2017 to 2020, Safeplaces Network has been funded by the National Council for Crime Prevention – BRÅ and KTH. All our events are free of charge.
