What is Safeplaces network?

Safeplaces is a network of information exchange that advances knowledge on situational crime prevention, improves the understanding of people’s safety needs and helps achieve the sustainable development goals.

Safeplaces network at KTH Royal Institute of Technology is a national resource for those working to make places safer and inclusive. Safeplaces network enables and strengthens the relationship between researchers, policy makers and other stakeholders, whose task is to improve safety for all. Since 2018, there is also Safeplaces West, with its academic base at the University of Borås.
